Description

The diagram of holdings is a tree-like visual representation of a corporate entity. A corporate entity consists of a Parent company at the root of the tree, together with 0 or more subsidiaries. Each subsidiary can, in turn, own 0 or more subsidiaries and so on.

In the diagram of holdings, each node shows the following information:

  • Company name.
  • Market Cap.
  • For subsidiaries, the percentage owned by the parent. Example: Suppose Company A is at the root of the tree and has a market cap of $1B. Suppose also that Company A owns 75% of Company B, which has a market cap of $100M. Then the node corresponding Company A would show Company A. $1B, while the node corresponding Company B would show Company B (75%). $100M.

Strategy tips

  • On the diagram of holdings, clicking on any company will open their corresponding Company Info Panel, while clicking on our company leads you to the Dashboard Panel.
  • In Finance Interactive, cross-holdings are not allowed, so the diagram is always a tree.
