Description
This table shows basic information about the stock market index in the game. It shows the following information:
- Current market index (initial value is 100).
- Number of companies in index: this number is computed as . Here, the initial number is based on the one chosen in the New Game Settings, which may be different from the number of companies at the start of the game due to mergers or bankruptcies during the pre-simulation phase before a new game starts.
- One-year return (%): before one year has elapsed, it is set to NMF (no-meaningful figure). After that, it is computed as , where C is the current turn number.
- Three-year return (%): before three years have elapsed, it is set to NMF (no-meaningful figure). After that, it is computed as , where C is the current turn number.
- Five-year return (%): before five year have elapsed, it is set to NMF (no-meaningful figure). After that, it is computed as , where C is the current turn number.
Additionally, clicking on the show graph button opens a window showing historical data for the index values in the last one, three, five, and ten years.
